Our Classroom

We have a spelling board to help us apply our phoincs knowledge to the increasingly challenging year 5 words and to encourage us to look for patterns in our spelling words.

Our visual timetable is on the board above our calendar. There is an English calendar and a Spanish calendar (to help us further develop our Spanish vocabulary).

Our reading area is a comfy cosy space (where you will probably find me curled up reading!) with an enormous selection of books.

Our class charter board helps us to remember our rights and responsibilities.

Quite a few children have found the coin multiplication card challenging in recent weeks. We are continuing to work on this during our CLIC sessions but if you would like to talk about it at home then this video will help.

Information for parents and carers

We have our PE lesson with the PE coach on a Monday afternoon. I ask that your child has their PE kit in school each day as we often have additional sporting activities throughout the week.

Remembrance Week
Education city

We have started to set additional home learning challenges on Education City. These are not a compulsory part of your child’s homework but the challenges will help your child to continue developing the skills that we have developed in class that week.

New challenges are added each Friday.

Your child’s username and password have been glued into both their reading record and homework book.
